Tower 48

California in the winter isn't really winter compared to the rest of the country. That being said, on a cold windy day, California outdoor people pretty much stay inside. I was near the beach on a cold day in December and decided to walk out onto the beach and take some black and white photos. I thought that this lifeguard tower being closed and boarded up was a perfect illustration of what California beach people do in the winter. They stay home.
