The iPhone does a great job of stitching panoramas. I am hooked on panos, so I cant’ resist the urge to shoot a pano when presented with an opportunity. The other day I was standing in the service drive of a busy car dealership in Hemet, California, and I felt a pano urge coming on. Here you see the result.
Shot handheld with an iPhone. The iPhone does a great job of stitching panoramas as long as you keep the phone level, rotate it correctly, and start and stop in logical spots. This is cropped very slightly on the ends. Other than that, this is straight out of camera.
